Product Care Instructions

Meelevate Apparel garments are hand-decorated and individually finished. Proper care helps protect the garment, artwork, color effects, and special details.

Always follow the care label and product-specific instructions first. When an individual product provides different instructions, those directions take priority over this general guide.

General Care for Decorated Apparel

  • Turn the garment inside out before washing.
  • Machine wash in cold water using a gentle or delicate cycle.
  • Wash with similar colors.
  • Use a mild detergent.
  • Do not use chlorine bleach or harsh cleaning products.
  • Avoid prolonged soaking.
  • Air-dry when possible.
  • If machine drying is permitted by the garment label, tumble dry on low heat.
  • Avoid high heat, which can damage fabric, transfers, prints, and decorative finishes.
  • Do not iron directly over artwork, transfers, patches, embroidery, rhinestones, metallic details, or other decoration.

Heat-Applied and DTF Graphics

Turn the garment inside out, use cold water and a gentle cycle, and avoid bleach and harsh detergent. Air-drying is preferred. If needed and permitted by the garment label, tumble dry on low heat.

Do not expose the graphic to direct high heat. If ironing is necessary, avoid the decorated area. Never place a hot iron directly on a transfer or printed design.

Hand-Finished Color and Splatter Treatments

Hand-finished products may include individual color, texture, or splatter treatments. Wash inside out in cold water with similar colors and avoid bleach, aggressive stain removers, scrubbing, and prolonged soaking.

Hand-Finished • Natural Variations

The approved artwork and overall design remain consistent, while minor visual differences may naturally occur from piece to piece. Natural variation does not include damage or a workmanship issue.

Embroidery, Patches, Rhinestones, Metallics, and Sewn Details

For products that include these features:

  • Turn the garment inside out before washing.
  • Use a mesh laundry bag when practical.
  • Choose cold water and a gentle cycle.
  • Air-dry flat or on a hanger when the garment label permits.
  • Do not pull, pick, scrape, or iron directly over decorative details.
  • Avoid high heat and rough contact with zippers, hooks, or abrasive items.

Spot Treatment

Blot stains gently instead of aggressively rubbing the decorated area. Test any cleaning product on a small, hidden area first and follow the garment manufacturer’s care label. Do not apply bleach or a strong stain remover directly to artwork or special finishes.

Before the First Wash

Review the product page and the care information supplied with the garment. Keep the hang tag and care instructions for future reference.

Product-Specific Testing

The final blank-shirt supplier and product-specific wash testing are still being completed. Verified fabric content, manufacturer care instructions, and any special product restrictions will be added before each applicable product is released.

Meelevate Apparel does not make a specific wash-count or lifetime-durability guarantee unless it is stated on the individual product page.
